Literature Text

It shielded her silent eyes
Underneath this floral guise
She smiled
And said
"Hey".

My heart bloomed with colour
When the sky stayed grey.

Standing in this English rain,
I slowly learnt to feel again.
Never did I stray from it,
The path that lead to starry wit.

The air was cold but I was fine,
To seek the girl who's most divine,
A ghostly kiss upon her cheek,
Before wandering throughout the week
Waiting for the rain to come,
Without her presence I felt numb.

Embers glowing in her eyes,
For once she took me by surprise.

She held my hand and begged me to stay,
For longer than that rainy day.
...What's with all the romance? For once it's not raining where I live, and yet here I sit, making up poems about mysterious girls and miserable weather XD

Still working on the poetry, hopefully I'm getting a little better. Either way, I shall keep trying! :icondeterminedplz:

You are improving whatever you do. This is already amazing poetry and the romance is very deep and clear :D
